How to enroll in the Unity Partner Program

  1. Submit an Application
    Complete the online application form and share information about your organization’s business profile and partnership goals. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
  2. Meet Eligibility Requirements
    To be considered, organizations must meet the applicable program requirements, which may include minimum Unity seat thresholds, certifications, tier qualifications, and acceptance of the applicable Terms of Service.
  3. Application Review
    The Unity ISV Partner team reviews each application and may contact organizations that meet the relevant qualifications to discuss next steps. All applications are subject to Unity’s review and approval.
  4. Finalize Partnership
    An organization may become eligible to participate in the partner program only upon execution of the applicable partner or distribution agreement (if applicable), satisfaction of program criteria, and approval by Unity. Access to program benefits, training resources, and partner incentives is subject to the terms of the applicable agreement and program requirements.

Frequently asked questions

The Program is designed for a company that builds or sells commercial software that is developed on Unity.

Regardless of size, any company that builds software using Unity is free to apply to join our ISV Partner Program.

To qualify for the ISV Program, Partners must:

  • Registered Tier: Building or selling a commercial product on Unity, at least 1 active Unity Industry license.
  • Authorized Tier: At least 2+ active Unity Industry licenses, Clear ISV model (Product, Embedded, or Extension), Structured Distribution License in place, Verified Solutions certification, proven customer deployments (min. 2), Demonstrated commercial traction
  • Strategic Tier: Speak with one of our partner representatives to learn more about eligibility requirements.
